Lake
Tahoe's Emerald Bay...A Jeweler's Gem
A
place where Lake Tahoe's beauty unfolds and the water
reflects
the colors of the of the perfect Emerald.
Incredibly beautiful...yes,
but there's more to the story of Lake Tahoe's most
visited by boat
tour destination and Captain Dennis Lucas would like to
share with you
the incredible story and events over time of how Emerald
Bay with it's history became one of the State Park
Treasures of the Sierra Nevada's.
As
part of the tour, we dock the boat as you can see and
offer you the opportunity at your leisure to explore the
Vikingsholm, a 1920's private home that is now
designated a state park and discover the mystery of
how it came to be. The tea house located at the
top of the centered island of the bay was a private
retreat for the Madam of the house and was used as a
secluded retreat for her friends of leisure who ventured
forth to visit from as far as San Francisco...no easy
task in the day. Captain Lucas
can embellish more to the story in a "one on one"
setting...taking your questions with personal interest.
It's not his job...it's his passion!
Engine off, music low, wine chilled...imagination
aroused...tell us the story |
